Costumes: Band and Modern

When we had decided on the band being part of the indie genre, we went on Pinterest and got images of similar styles we wanted our band members to have.

Some examples include:

For the overall band image we wanted it to be similar to San Cisco, one of our referenced bands.

San Cisco

After our production meeting, we went home and posted pictures of outfits or items of clothings we could use onto the facebook page.

Audrey and I suggested button up shirts with black skinny jeans but since we wanted a variety in the band while it still looked good overall, we had to find another outfit.
For the male band members, Brandon suggested shirts which fit well with the indie band image with black skinny jeans.
Juliette posted images of more vintage clothing which gave a more 'hipster' feel.

In the end, we decided the band members would wear:

Lead Singer:
Jacob: Lead Singer
Brandon: Drummer
The lead singer's band outfit could also be his modern outfit as it fits quite well.

For the drummer, he would wear a plaid shirt, unbuttoned with a white shirt underneath and skinny jeans. This outfit is tend to be worn by hipster and indie music listeners, which is our target audience.

Audrey: Guitarist
Chrystal: Bassist

As for the girls, we decided on Audrey, the guitarist, to be the upbeat character and with that we decided on her wearing a skirt and pale pink top with cream high-top shoes. For me, the bassist, she would have a cool persona and so we thought a bold red top with black skinny jeans would suit her.

In the modern era, we decided on the female lead in the music video to wear a plain grey top tucked into a pattern skirt with vans which most people in this era wear. This is noticeable and relatable for the audience to interact with the music video.
