During one of our lessons, Juliette and I decided to time code the lyrics so we could see how much time we would have for each shot. After we time coded the lyrics, we allocated eras to different versus of the song; we then wrote down intertexual references that we could include to make the audience rewatch our music video and recognise the references. For example, 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S', next to that we wrote down the props we would use to represent the era/intertexual references which included a sofa and a Central Perk mug. We were then able easily see how we could develop the storyboard in more detail; this includes going from our simple idea of having phones in the modern era to having them bump into each other while on their phones which is easily recognisable by the audience as well as relatable.
