Animatic

For people to easily visualise what our music video would be like, we made an animatic that contains shots from our storyboard and videos we've recorded put in order and length of how we would have it in our actual music video.

Timeline for Animatic:

0:00-0:18: Band performance to establish our indie band within the first few seconds.

0:19-0:36: 50s era(Juliette, on the right, as the lead singer and me as the lead girl) Guy flirts with girl with the Greasers style.

0:37: Cuts straight to 70s as they swing outwards doing the Saturday Night Fever hand movements.

0:37-0:43: 70s era. Girl and guy dance on disco floor, with references to Saturday Night Fever.

0:43-1:00: cuts to band performance. For every chorus, we would have the band performance to keep it constant.

1:00-1:18: 80s era. Guy dances catching girls attention, Guy walks along bench (represented by chairs). Girl is shy and covers face with book. Guy throws book away and they do 'The Breakfast Club' shuffle on the floor.

1:19-1:25: 90s era. Cuts straight to girl jumping onto sofa. Guy shyly picks up 'Central Perk' mug. Girl stop him and puts mug down then kisses him on cheek.(Juliette is now girl)

1:26-1:42: Band performance

1:43-1:59: Girl and guy face each other and sings 'Oh come on girl!'. Starts to dance the dance choreographed below:(Cuts through different eras doing same dance)

2:00-2:14: Band performance

2:15-2:32: Modern era. Girl bumps into guy at zebra crossing. They look at each other interested, They phones backwards to talk. As shown in video below:

2:33-2:56: Second dance. (Cuts through different eras doing the same dance)

2:57-2:58: Cuts through individual band performance shots.

2:59-3:00: Couple walks off together.
